How does the association of RapidPro, RedEye Australasia and Solid Concepts work?
RapidPro is the engine that powers RedEye Australasia and house Australia’s largest FDM build centre. FDM parts and protoypes are made locally and shipped thoughout Australia, New Zealand and Worldwide.
RapidPro acts as an agent for Solid Concepts on the East Coast of Australia.
What types of files do you need?
We use STL files to build prototypes and parts. However, we can also work with STP, IGS, x_t (parasolid), VRML and other file types.
How can I convert CAD to STL?
The .STL file format has become the Rapid Prototyping industrys defacto standard data transmission format.
Almost all of todays CAD systems are capable of producing an STL file. For the user the process is often as simple as selecting File, Save As, and STL. Click on File Specs to the right for some useful steps for producing high quality STL files from a number of todays leading CAD systems.
